Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment systems including electrical/brake/cooling, engines (gas/diesel), transmissions, starters/alternators, and related components.
  • •Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to confirm malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on a company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Complete DOT forms and company documentation accurately, including uploading photos and findings via Repair Orders using a company-issued iOS device and TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination of education/certification and experience).
  • •Supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform job duties.
  • •Obtain and maintain a current, valid DOT medical card (or complete required DOT physical if needed) and pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within eighteen (18) months (required).
  • •Must be at least 21 years or older and hold a valid driver’s license with ability to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File.
