Key Responsibilities

  • •Keep abreast of market practices and drive innovation in pricing and regulatory filings.
  • •Collaborate with groups (Group, UW, MM, CFO) to translate business developments into actuarial drivers in financials.
  • •Manage and drive your area of responsibility or project within the pricing team.
  • •Develop global actuarial pricing approaches and processes for rate filings and enhance models for rate filing purposes.
  • •Prepare and perform actuarial rate filing analyses, including documentation and communication of results.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline (ideally Master's); Accredited member of the Casualty Actuarial Society or in progress toward accreditation; 3 years actuarial pricing experience in the US including standard commercial lines rate filings; Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects; Proficiency with MS Office (including VBA) and tools like Matlab, R, SQL, Java
