Key Responsibilities

•Lead the engineering transformation across our Customer Due Diligence application in collaboration with the CIB Client Services Engineering Leadership team.
•Design and build solutions using microservice architecture, partnering with the product team to understand requirements and impact of changes.
•Lead by example, delivering high cadence solutions for both new functionality and legacy system replacements, supporting other teams to achieve the same.
•Release changes to production daily, owning requirements from business discussions through development, testing, release, and production support.
•Drive engineering excellence and a strong engineering culture across multiple teams, removing barriers and influencing behaviours.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience building applications using non-breaking principles, particularly in developing RESTful APIs and microservices with high cadence.
•Experience delivering microservices without using frameworks like SpringBoot is a plus.
•Extensive experience working with Java, preferably 17+.
•Extensive experience building and managing database schemas using PostgreSQL.
•Ability to influence global teams of engineers and translate business requirements into iterative production delivery.
