Job Summary

Intern with the Raytheon Software Engineering team (summer 2027) to develop, integrate, test, and document hardware/software platform capabilities. You’ll integrate applications from multiple sources, build software needed to connect components and enable new functionality, and support design reviews, unit testing, code peer reviews, and test plan generation to improve stability and quality. Work within a development team of domain experts.

•Follow accepted development standards including unit tests, code peer reviews, design reviews, and generating test plans.

Key Requirements

•Enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field, and at minimum Sophomore/Jr/Sr/Post Grad year by summer 2027.
•Software development experience with Java in a Unix/Linux environment.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
•Experience with scripting languages such as Python and familiarity with a JavaScript framework such as AngularJS or VueJS.
•Familiarity with version control (GIT), continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Maven, or GitLab), and Agile development practices.
