Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in reviews to identify system deficiencies, risks, and resolutions; support preparation and validation of configuration items and operational scenarios.
  • •Develop and refine operational concepts, commissioning plans, transition strategies, and engage in integration, verification, and validation testing for new systems and ground segments.
  • •Conduct and coordinate routine, non-routine, and contingency operations for data processing and product extraction systems, including monitoring performance/quality and resolving anomalies.
  • •Maintain operational schedules and documentation (procedures, user guides) and generate inputs for mission KPIs and operational reports.
  • •Contribute to system and product evolution, validate upgrades, collaborate on quality monitoring tools, and provide rotating on-call support.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree (or equivalent) in engineering, atmospheric physics, remote sensing, meteorology, or a related scientific discipline.
  • •At least two years of hands-on experience in real-time or near-real-time satellite data processing and calibration in an operational environment.
  • •Expertise in managing and validating complex data processing or product extraction systems.
  • •Strong background in UNIX/Linux environments and a systematic approach to troubleshooting and operations.
  • •Proficiency in English (working language) and the ability to provide 24/7 on-call support.
