Key Responsibilities

  • •Own significant parts of the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • •Manage key accounting areas including revenue, accounts receivable, payroll, commissions, operating expenses, prepaids, and fixed assets.
  • •Review contracts and business activities to identify and resolve accounting implications.
  • •Continuously improve accounting workflows in Rillet and other tools, building processes and controls to improve accuracy.
  • •Support the annual audit, tax filings, and other compliance requirements while partnering with Strategic Finance and cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth startup or SaaS environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience managing a monthly close.
  • •Experience with revenue recognition and subscription software accounting issues.
  • •Ability to independently research problems, develop a point of view, and drive issues to resolution.
  • •Comfort operating when processes need to be created or improved, including using AI tools in day-to-day work.
