Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide electrical, controls, and automation engineering support to enable safe, reliable, and efficient production operations.
  • •Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing equipment and control systems, including PLC programming changes and preventative maintenance support, to minimize downtime.
  • •Lead and support capital and continuous improvement projects from planning through implementation of new equipment, processes, and technologies.
  • •Partner with production and maintenance teams to improve asset performance and drive productivity and reliability improvements.
  • •Maintain technical documentation and engineering standards, including electrical schematics, equipment specifications, operating procedures, and spare parts inventory management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (high-speed packaging equipment experience preferred).
  • •Strong electrical controls and automation knowledge, including process controls, motor controls, instrumentation, industrial networking, and Allen-Bradley PLC/FactoryTalk platforms.
  • •Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex equipment issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • •Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing systems and how equipment, materials, processes, environment, and people interact to optimize performance.
