Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a key legal partner across corporate, commercial, technology, regulatory, compliance, employment, privacy, data security, and operational matters.
  • •Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements including software, SaaS, AI, vendor, technology, data, confidentiality, service, licensing, and related agreements.
  • •Maintain corporate securities filings with the SEC (e.g., Form 4, Form S-8, Form 8-K).
  • •Manage contract matters end-to-end, including intake, drafting, negotiation, stakeholder alignment, risk escalation, and final execution.
  • •Develop and improve legal templates, contract playbooks, clause libraries, approval workflows, and scalable legal operations; support disputes and special projects as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • •Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar, with eligibility to practice as in-house counsel in the District of Columbia if not admitted there.
  • •4+ years of relevant legal experience.
  • •Strong business judgment with attention to detail and ability to prioritize material legal risk.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers while managing multiple priorities.
