Job Summary

Lead and mentor a research-oriented device engineering team in Intel’s Logic Technology Development, directing design, execution, and analysis of experiments to advance cutting-edge transistor technology. Manage high-volume process development, collaborate across integration, design, and reliability groups, and ensure PDk delivery and robust test structures while extracting insights from electrical-test and fab data to guide future development.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the LTD core process development team on design, execution, and analysis of experiments aimed at the creation and optimization of leading-edge silicon transistor technology.
•Lead a team of device and process engineers to develop a high-volume capable process technology that meets performance, yield, and reliability requirements for both internal and foundry products.
•Set priorities of a team embedded in programs targeted for foundry offerings to drive results across boundaries and develop employee careers.
•Collaborate with LTD core program integration and device organization to deliver high-quality Process-Design Kit (PDK) to the design enablement team, including silicon-to-simulation analysis and reliability validation.
•Use statistics, data mining, and other data analysis techniques to extract insights from electrical-test, yield, and fab data to define future development direction.

Key Requirements

•Must possess a master's degree (preferably Ph.D. degree) in electrical engineering (EE), electrical and computer engineering (ECE), electrical engineering and computer science (EECS) directly related to Semiconductor field.
•10+ years of experience in advanced node semiconductor industry in one or more of the following: Semiconductor materials, fabrication, and device physics.
•Electrical characterization of Semiconductor Devices (transistor, diode, etc.).
•Preferred: Advanced Transistor Device Structures and Device Physics.
•Preferred: Device and circuit simulation and Experience with SPC/DOE principles and engineering analysis tools.
