Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the LTD core process development team’s design, execution, and analysis of experiments for leading-edge silicon transistor technology.
  • •Lead a team to develop high-volume process technology that meets performance, yield, and reliability requirements for internal and foundry products.
  • •Set priorities for foundry-focused programs and ensure team performance, career development, and an inclusive work environment.
  • •Deliver and support a high-quality Process-Design Kit (PDK) for design enablement, including silicon-to-simulation correlation, layout effect validation, and electrical monitors.
  • •Define test structures/programs and use statistical and data-mining techniques to extract insights from electrical-test, yield, and fab data to guide future development direction.

Key Requirements

  • •Must possess a master’s degree (preferably Ph.D.) in electrical engineering (EE), electrical and computer engineering (ECE), or electrical engineering and computer science (EECS) related to semiconductor fields.
  • •10+ years of experience in advanced node semiconductor industry focused on semiconductor materials, fabrication, and device physics.
  • •Experience with electrical characterization of semiconductor devices such as transistors and diodes.
  • •Advanced transistor device structures and device physics experience.
  • •Experience with SPC or Design of Experiments (DOE), device/circuit simulation, and data/analytics tools and scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, MATLAB).
