Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure developmental tests are complete per schedule, including sample acquiring, testing, and data entry.
  • •Operate and/or execute process steps using processing equipment, manual processing, test equipment, and metrology tools.
  • •Follow work instructions and interpret task documents, performing basic analytics to confirm proper tool operation and test execution.
  • •Communicate immediately any abnormal findings on the product or testing equipment.
  • •Adhere to safety procedures and good housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement suggestions while working under daily supervision.

Salary: USD 17.84 - 25 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 2 years of relevant technical experience in a manufacturing or lab environment, or 1 year as an Engineering Test Support I at First Solar.
  • •Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and test plans.
  • •Ability to operate tools and processing equipment (e.g., robots, conveyors, and human/machine interfaces) with average proficiency.
  • •Basic computer skills with Word and Excel.
  • •Ability to learn and run JMP scripts and analyze simple datasets using JMP and SQL upon training.
