Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide individual or group support to pupils both inside and outside the classroom to help them participate in daily activities.
  • •Assist with implementing IEPs, linking support to IEP goals and contributing to monitoring progress and attainment.
  • •Support pupils with additional needs (academic, physical, emotional, behavioural) and help develop social and communication skills.
  • •Assist teachers by maintaining pupil records, preparing learning resources, supervising pupils, and supporting classroom instruction as prescribed.
  • •Follow confidentiality requirements, promote health and safety, support behaviour initiatives, and attend or deliver interventions related to SaLT/OT/ABA therapy.

Key Requirements

  • •Be a UAE National and hold a minimum SEN qualification, plus a secondary school certificate / bachelors.
  • •Have at least 1 year of experience in UAE schools.
  • •Demonstrate English language skills (or the language applied in the school curriculum).
  • •Support individual pupils with academic and additional needs (physical, emotional, behavioural) and develop social and communication skills.
  • •Adhere to confidentiality and follow health and safety, code of conduct, and relevant school policies.
