Key Responsibilities

  • •Own project controlling—budgets, actuals, open commitments (Obligo), accruals, forecasts, and variances—and consolidate cost, timeline, and resource data across multiple concurrent projects.
  • •Deliver and document the transfer pricing cost base for intercompany charging between group entities.
  • •Act as a sparring partner to project leads and scientific/technical teams to flag cost overruns early and support corrective action with clear cost and margin logic.
  • •Support monthly and quarterly consolidation across group entities and drive a faster, more disciplined close calendar for external reporting.
  • •Design and implement a group-wide cost accounting model and evolve controlling into a structured, automated setup using Dynamics 365 Business Central and connected tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or related field; CFA is a plus.
  • •7+ years of experience in FP&A, project controlling, or corporate controlling, ideally including listed company/IPO preparation/advisory exposure.
  • •Proven hands-on experience with project and portfolio controlling across multiple concurrent projects.
  • •Strong financial consolidation knowledge, including HGB and IFRS; experience with financial modeling and Excel.
  • •Fluent in German and English, with a hands-on, independent ownership mindset and ability to explain cost and margin logic to non-finance stakeholders.
