Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and operate the foundational systems powering the platform, from cloud infrastructure to tooling
  • •Develop and maintain observable systems with structured logging, distributed tracing, and alerting
  • •Ensure reliability and performance at scale with automated deployment and testing
  • •Architect and implement edge computing strategies and determine optimal placement of logic
  • •Collaborate with software engineers to version, test, and automate infrastructure changes

Key Requirements

  • •Experience designing, building, and operating cloud services at scale (preferably on GCP)
  • •Experience with edge compute functions and deciding where to run logic in the stack
  • •Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform or similar)
  • •Strong understanding of database performance, bottlenecks, and scaling
  • •Experience with observable systems: logging, tracing, metrics dashboards, and alerting
