Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead planning for base maintenance and aircraft modification workload requirements for the entire fleet.
  • •Validate compliance with mandatory company and FAA requirements for safe fleet operation.
  • •Ensure time-tracked, reliability, and project-driven aircraft work is scheduled and completed within prescribed timeframes to improve reliability.
  • •Facilitate cross-functional communication across Planning and key internal customers and vendors (e.g., Flight Ops, Supply Chain, Maintenance Control, Line Planning, Base Maintenance).
  • •Interface with Finance on budget/forecasts and oversee recovery programs to ensure critical maintenance tasks are assigned and provisioned for off-schedule recovery.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Planning, Aeronautics (or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • •7+ years of leadership experience managing cross-departmental teams at or above the manager level.
  • •10+ years of overall experience in operations, planning, scheduling, or an equivalent role.
  • •In-depth knowledge of the airline industry and technical operations, company policies/procedures, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • •Demonstrates ethics and integrity, plus strong interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills.
