Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily monitoring and processing of settlement processes for equities, mutual funds, fixed income, hedge fund/structured funds, ETFs, securities lending and borrowing, and local market short selling across multiple markets.
  • •Handle complex settlement transactions by receiving and validating client/market/sub-custodian instructions, ensuring correct matching and timely settlement.
  • •Communicate with stakeholders (clients, counterparties, markets, sub-custodians, regulators, brokers, paying agents, issuers) and track/respond to queries with settlement information aligned to market rules and regulations.
  • •Execute and validate cash/FX and related positions work, including cash/funding checks, vouchers/sign-offs for FX/cash execution review, and escalation of mismatches or discrepancies.
  • •Support controls, KPIs/KRIs, incident submission, reconciliation, SWIFT instruction usage/second-level processing, and participate in projects such as system upgrades and new client SLA/SLD implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or 5 years related work experience).
  • •5+ years of experience in security services and/or back-office operations, including managing securities settlements and corporate actions.
  • •Solid understanding of security services operations and the accounting activity related to security services.
  • •Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining established controls and risk parameters.
  • •High accuracy and attention to detail with strong self-starter communication and interpersonal skills (preferred: hands-on securities settlement/client services/corporate actions experience).
