Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop project-specific Fire Engineering Strategies and Fire Safety Concepts.
  • •Perform fire code compliance reviews and conduct fire and life safety assessments for new and existing assets.
  • •Support performance-based studies, including developing CFD simulations for fire and occupant egress analysis.
  • •Design fire detection and alarm systems and water-based fire protection systems, including sprinkler, hydrant, and fire water storage/pumping systems.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in design reviews/workshops, and mentor junior engineers while supporting technical delivery activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •5-10 years of professional experience in Fire Engineering, Fire Protection Design, or Fire Life Safety Consultancy.
  • •Experience in engineering consulting companies, specialist fire engineering firms, or multidisciplinary design consultancies.
  • •Strong knowledge of international fire codes and standards, including NFPA, BS, EN, and the International Building Code (IBC).
  • •Experience preparing fire engineering strategies, fire safety reports, and fire protection calculations/design deliverables.
