Key Responsibilities

  • •Read and interpret structural and fabrication drawings
  • •Mark out, fit, align, and assemble steel plates and structural components
  • •Carry out plate renewal, repair, and replacement work on vessels
  • •Fit and position bulkheads, frames, stiffeners, brackets, and other structural elements
  • •Prepare materials for welding operations, ensuring accurate fit-up and alignment

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience as a Plate Fitter in a shipyard, dry dock, or marine fabrication environment
  • •Strong ability to read and interpret technical and structural drawings
  • •Experience with steel renewal, structural repairs, and vessel modifications
  • •Proficient in measuring, marking out, and fitting structural components
  • •EU citizenship (mandatory) and clean criminal record (mandatory)
