Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the mechanical design team with design and construction administration of facilities.
  • •Design plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems.
  • •Perform HVAC calculations and analysis using industry programs (e.g., Carrier HAP).
  • •Assist in preparing designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision.

Key Requirements

  • •Be completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Ability to assist with design and drafting of mechanical systems in 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Revit).
  • •Ability to perform HVAC calculations and analysis using industry programs (e.g., Carrier HAP).
  • •Ability to use and create Excel spreadsheets to support calculations and analysis.
  • •Preferred: prior experience with a consulting engineering firm and knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD.
