Key Responsibilities

•Closing and Reporting — Plan, coordinate and manage monthly, quarterly and annual closings, related accounting tasks and reporting products across IFRS, GAAP, statutory, Solvency II; include postings, journal entries, reconciliations and data transfer from systems.
•Governance and quality assurance — Own closing/reporting processes and drive simplification, standardization and harmonization of processes and tools; ensure documentation and audit requirements are met.
•Collaboration and relationship management — Manage relationships with internal groups, AZ affiliates, reinsurers, brokers, external auditors and authorities as applicable.
•Ad-hoc tasks and project work — Execute special projects such as the Aurora reinsurance structure and other global initiatives.
•Data accuracy and reporting integrity — Ensure data correctness, quality and timely reporting across all accounting regimes and data interfaces.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 115,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3-5 years professional experience in reinsurance accounting of P&C.
•3-5 years experience in project and team work in an international and dynamic environment.
•3-5 years experience in navigating a complex/matrix environment with data integrity responsibilities.
•Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS 17, local GAAP, regulatory and other relevant requirements.
•Locally recognized professional qualification related to Accounting (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
