Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare feasibility study reports, define building requirements and purpose of use, and review work with the Local GCC Head of MEP.
  • •Monitor and agree scope of works; carry out detailed design using relevant India/Singapore regulations and codes of practice, including complex calculations and coordination.
  • •Review and monitor calculations with QA/technical review and sign-off; ensure information supports project costing and tender document preparation on time.
  • •Coordinate project contract documents (drawings and specifications), respond to day-to-day design queries, and manage commissions using applicable project management tools.
  • •Follow document control, archiving, CDM and QA processes; mentor and coach junior staff; deputise for the team leader and assist with elements of financial management.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience designing building services with significant experience in a similar role or a strong track record.
  • •Degree in Building Services Engineering and membership to an accredited engineering body (e.g., MIET, CIBSE, INSRAE, ASHRAE).
  • •Ideally British Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent).
  • •Strong knowledge of NBC and ISHRAE/ASHRAE, with UK/SG codes knowledge advantageous; experience with feasibility studies through detailed design and tender.
  • •Proficiency with technical software such as Hevacomp, Amtec, and Dialux.
