Job Summary

Lead RF Test & Measurement product redesign for end-of-life components to extend product lifecycle and maintain availability and support. Redesign and validate circuits across analog, power supply, RF, and microwave domains for both discrete and IC-based designs, qualify alternative components, and evaluate their impact on hardware, software functionality, and calibration needs. Collaborate with manufacturing on design for manufacturability improvements, develop POC prototypes, and support PCB layout reviews and failure analysis to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead redesign activities for end-of-life components in RF Test & Measurement products to extend lifecycle and maintain availability and business growth.
•Redesign and validate circuits across analog, power supply, RF, and microwave domains, including discrete and IC-based designs.
•Evaluate and qualify alternative components while minimizing impact to hardware architecture, software functionality, and product calibration requirements.
•Collaborate with manufacturing teams to incorporate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) improvements that enhance quality, yield, and reliability.
•Perform failure analysis, document technical findings and corrective actions, and develop debug tools, troubleshooting guides, and training materials to support engineering and manufacturing teams.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
•1–2 years of relevant experience in hardware design, sustaining engineering, or RF/analog product development.
•Knowledge of analog circuit design, power supply design, and RF fundamentals.
•Familiarity with failure analysis, root cause investigation, and debugging techniques.
•Ability to travel to Austin, Texas for training and collaboration with global R&D teams.
