Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, assign, and supervise maintenance technicians across shifts, including coaching, mentoring, and managing shift handovers and on-call response.
  • •Coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance across General Assembly assets and act as first escalation point during major breakdowns.
  • •Provide hands-on technical support and guide root cause analysis for complex mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.
  • •Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, robots, ovens, conveyors, utilities, and safety systems; verify stability and readiness before equipment handover.
  • •Enforce LOTO, PPE, electrical and machine safety, and hazardous-area requirements; ensure compliance with OEM standards and support relevant audits and KPI/reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
  • •5-6 years of maintenance experience in automotive manufacturing or paint shop environments.
  • •Hands-on experience across electrical, mechanical, and automation maintenance.
  • •Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and control logic.
