Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage in risk management for Consumer and Small Business, identifying existing and emerging risks and supporting acceptance or mitigation aligned to firm risk appetite.
  • •Lead a team of business governance professionals to execute risk programs and operational responsibilities, including risk control self-assessments and issues management.
  • •Govern and oversee risks tied to business processes and decisions, including oversight of the control environment in conjunction with GCO requirements.
  • •Monitor business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  • •Oversee and support open risk, audit, and regulatory issues by evaluating root causes and remediation plans, and support audit/regulatory exam engagements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and training.
  • •10+ years of progressive experience in a financial institution with emphasis on risk management (or equivalent).
  • •Advanced knowledge of industry-related regulatory requirements.
  • •Knowledge of operational and other non-financial risks.
  • •Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate without close supervision and manage competing priorities.
