Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide medical oversight and leadership to ensure delivery of cost effective, quality healthcare services to plan members.
  • •Serve as clinical advisor to medical management staff and ensure correct clinical judgment is applied to determinations.
  • •Lead development, implementation and interpretation of medical review and quality policies and guidelines.
  • •Oversee staff and provider training and education.
  • •Monitor performance indicators and drive improvements to cost-effective, high-quality care and patient/provider satisfaction.
