Key Responsibilities

•Incident Response & Active Edge Mitigation: Execute immediate defensive maneuvers at the Cloudflare edge to protect customer availability, including deploying custom WAF rules, implementing L3/L4 DDoS shunning, and performing real-time traffic filtering.
•Support Full IR Lifecycle Management: Lead end-to-end incident response for clients (investigation, containment, remediation, recovery) and coordinate sessions with stakeholders to ensure high-quality service.
•Incident Remediation: Develop and execute customized tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations based on targeted attack insights.
•Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate findings and guidance clearly to executive and technical audiences across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
•Threat Tracking & Collaboration: Work with forensic analysts, threat researchers, detection engineers, and malware analysts to detect, isolate, and mitigate threats for Cloudflare customers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field
•5+ years of overall cybersecurity experience, including 2+ years in Incident Response
•Deep understanding of Windows OS; working knowledge of Unix/Linux/macOS; familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, O365, Google Cloud, Cloudflare) and cloud IR methods
•Strong knowledge of common L3/L4/L7 attack patterns; experience with JA3/JA4 fingerprinting and API abuse investigations
•Solid understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and NIST Cyber Security Frameworks; excellent English communication skills
