Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess the overall effectiveness of security controls for information systems using RMF and provide severity evaluations of weaknesses or deficiencies.
  • •Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of IS security program policy with emphasis on integration of existing SAP network infrastructure.
  • •Evaluate authorization packages and recommend actions to the Authorizing Official/Delegated and/or Authorizing Official.
  • •Prepare Security Assessment Reports (SAR) and initiate POA&M items for identified weaknesses across assessed authorization boundaries.
  • •Advise Government and customer stakeholders on assessment/authorization issues, impacts to confidentiality/integrity/availability, and support compliance inspections and security incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of related experience conducting security assessments in information systems security.
  • •Prior performance as an ISSO and ISSM or Security Control Assessor (SCA).
  • •Minimum of 4 years experience in SAP, SCI, or Collateral Information Systems (IS) Security and implementing applicable regulations.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline OR associate’s degree plus 2 years of experience OR equivalent (4 years) experience.
  • •Information Assurance Technician Level III or Information Assurance Manager Level II certification.
