Job Summary

Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering squad to discover and develop disruptive new product concepts, new-to-market features, and technologies. Account for ideation within your team’s focus area and drive approved concepts through NPI Operating Model milestones. Line manage 4–5 engineers, coordinate design reviews, partner with the project manager on plans, and lead cross-team communication to resolve conflicts and keep projects moving to technical reviews and KO/POC milestones.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering squad to ideate new product concepts and inspire innovation in a new product category.
•Line manage 4–5 engineers by setting performance goals and providing feedback to build a high-performing team.
•Serve as a first technical point of contact for stakeholders and coordinate design review agendas and content with senior leadership.
•Communicate between R&D teams to ensure timely input, resolve conflicts, and lead technical solutions.
•Partner with the project manager to define level 0–2 plans and drive delivery through prioritization, escalation, progress meetings, and technical milestones.

Key Requirements

•Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
•Proven experience delivering robust design solutions on time, to specification, and within cost and budget constraints.
•Significant experience interacting with and building relationships with senior stakeholders.
•Ability to motivate teams and influence effectively with and without formal power or line authority.
•Knowledge and proven experience implementing change management processes.
