Key Responsibilities

  • •Work within the scope of authorisations to carry out contracted tasks in line with Customer Regulations and Procedures.
  • •Ensure engineering tasks meet current policy, regulatory standards, and statutory requirements.
  • •Complete tasks safely, correctly, and within required timelines.
  • •Support continual improvement and provide mentoring when requested.
  • •Promote compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, environmental procedures, relevant manuals, and the Serco Management System.

Key Requirements

  • •At least one year of relevant engineering training or experience.
  • •A minimum Level 2 Diploma in an Engineering discipline or a recognised Apprenticeship.

  • •Working knowledge of aircraft systems, support equipment, planning processes, and technical publications.
  • •A good understanding of health and safety, COSHH, tool control, and quality practices.
