Deliver high-quality actuarial support for Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) schemes, ensuring accurate member option calculations from initial contract reviews through buy-out. Collaborate with scheme advisers, trustees, outsourced partners, and internal teams to align benefits with transaction specifications. Review administrator outputs, build and maintain cashflow projection models, set factor assumptions, and provide technical oversight on exercises such as GMP Equalisation, PIE, ETV, and Level Pension Options, with strong governance and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams to support a consistent member option journey across schemes.
•Ensure member options and benefits are determined in line with transaction benefit specifications, improving efficiency, accuracy, and member experience.
•Provide subject matter expertise on actuarial topics such as GMP Equalisation and its impact on member options.
•Review actuarial calculations produced by administrators, including transfer value calculations and retirement projections.
•Develop documentation and provide technical oversight for exercises such as PIE, ETV and Level Pension Options, including governance with audit trails and version control.

•Experience building models for factor generation and cashflow projections.
