Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in forecast calls and guide sales on optimal deal structures to increase revenue and improve win rates.
  • •Serve as subject matter authority on sales processes including Early Renewals, Order Docs, Channel Considerations, Licensing Models, Programs, Pricing, and Conversion Programs.
  • •Develop pricing strategies with sales teams to create compelling commercial proposals for customers and Splunk.
  • •Proactively identify solutions to sales issues, collaborate to train sales on new programs, and ensure adoption.
  • •Lead month-end war rooms, compose Order Documents, and coordinate with Legal and Revenue Recognition to manage customized terms and ensure compliance and approvals.

Key Requirements

  • •5-10 years of applicable experience in a sales/deal operations environment with comfort working to deadlines in virtual and matrix organizations.
  • •Proven ability to develop and apply deal structures and pricing strategies to address complex, changing priorities.
  • •Strong record of data management and data quality auditing, including documentation and clear visual result presentations.
  • •Experience with Salesforce.com reporting and administration.
  • •Articulate communication skills to interface, influence, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
