Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the managed services team with advanced troubleshooting of incidents in customer environments.
  • •Act as technical resource for major incidents relating to Unix/Linux technologies.
  • •Manage incidents and problems appropriately within agreed service levels, including root cause analysis for recurring or major incidents.
  • •Assist project engagement to ensure technical solutions meet customer requirements.
  • •Ensure correct configuration of supported technologies, keep technical documentation updated, and coordinate vendor call logging to resolution or escalation.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience supporting Unix/Linux operating system technologies in a technical support role.
  • •In-depth experience administering RHEL, HP-UX, SLES Linux, Solaris, CentOS, Ubuntu, and/or Debian.
  • •Experience with LDAP/BIND and administering Ignite.
  • •Ability to create and develop shell scripts.
  • •ITIL qualification and/or professional IT certifications related to Unix or Linux platforms.
