Job Summary

Own disaster recovery and data protection engineering for application workloads across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. Conduct DR drills and manage end-to-end data management workflows using resiliency orchestration tools (IBM/Kyndryl) and replication technologies. Build and document LLD/HLD/implementation designs, develop automation scripts using CLI/API and shell scripting, and support deployments across UNIX and Windows platforms while communicating results to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct DR drills and support infrastructure management for application workloads and data protection processes.
•Manage resiliency orchestration and replication solutions, including understanding DR scenarios and data management workflows.
•Develop and automate scripts integrating with different technologies using CLI and/or APIs.
•Create design/architecture deliverables such as LLD, HLD, and implementation design documents for deployments.
•Plan, scope, and drive technical projects to closure while collaborating across teams and geographies and communicating with management.

Key Requirements

•Experience with sanovi or IBM Resiliency Orchestration or Kyndrl Resilency Orchestration.
•Conduct DR drills and have infrastructure management knowledge across data protection (backup & recovery, BCP-DR, storage replication, archival/retention) for workloads like MS SQL, Exchange, Oracle, SAP, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, and AWS.
•Hands-on experience with standalone and clustered UNIX (AIX/Solaris/HPUX/RHEL) and Windows platforms, using TCL/Shell/Batch/PowerShell/Expect scripting (or similar).
•Expertise with IBM/Kyndryl Resiliency Orchestration tools and knowledge of Zerto/Carbonite Replication/Perpetuity Automation tools.
•Able to design/architect and build LLD/HLD and implementation design documents for end-to-end data management workflow across on-premises/cloud/hybrid architectures.
