Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling, delivering, and providing ongoing service for retail banking products and services.
  • •Establish and update understanding of clients’ financial needs using personal financial planning analysis, working with financial advisors on investment accounts and objectives.
  • •Keep abreast of economic, legal, and investment trends impacting clients and act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs/attorneys.
  • •Drive revenue growth, profitability, and retention by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing new products, and maintaining sales activity and pipeline in the contact management system.
  • •Coordinate with internal Integrated Relationship Management partners and external centers of influence, ensuring a compliant portfolio within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients dealing with banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory and investment management concepts, including asset allocation and retail credit products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66), and applicable Insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable) maintained (or obtained within 100-150 days), plus SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance and NMLS background check requirements.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills using basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
