Key Responsibilities

  • •Support transport planning projects by delivering operational transport models for complex, real-world scenarios.
  • •Apply microsimulation and mesoscopic modelling methods to produce modelling outputs.
  • •Use and/or develop scripts and macros within operational modelling platforms to improve modelling workflows.
  • •Use GIS techniques to support transport modelling outputs and analysis.
  • •Communicate modelling findings through clear presentation and analysis, working both independently and collaboratively with the team.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a transport modeller.
  • •Experience delivering operational modelling (microsimulation and mesoscopic modelling) for technically challenging projects.

  • •Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • •Recognised tertiary qualifications in engineering, transport, mathematics, economics, geography, computer science, statistics, physics, or an equivalent discipline.
