Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide training, support, and resources to volunteers across ESL, Financial Literacy, Detention Center Post-Release, and Children & Family programs.
  • •Coordinate volunteer scheduling and keep Detention Center Post-Release volunteers up to date on program developments.
  • •Plan and facilitate meetings and quarterly training, including workshops and guest speakers, while providing appreciation, recognition, and ongoing training opportunities.
  • •Maintain up-to-date volunteer information, hours, and activities; enter data regularly into a database and track engagement and program data.
  • •Create and implement program evaluation tools and support continuous program improvement, including participating in External Engagement Team meetings and promotional/recruiting events.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.5 - 25 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • •Volunteer and/or program management experience.
  • •Intermediate computer knowledge, including MS Office and ability to learn new programs.
  • •Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • •Demonstrated ability to work effectively and sensitively with people of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, including familiarity with trauma-informed responses and cultural humility.
