Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement cost control procedures and systems to monitor expenditures and ensure budget adherence.
  • •Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to establish budgets, cost forecasts, and expenditure plans.
  • •Perform cost estimation and analysis for components, materials, labor, and overhead; track costs to identify variances and trends.
  • •Prepare regular cost reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting financial metrics and performance indicators.
  • •Review contractor/vendor invoices, evaluate change orders for cost and timeline impacts, and implement cost mitigation measures such as value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of working experience, including 5 years of relevant cost control experience.
  • •Proficiency in financial analysis, including financial modeling, cost estimation, and understanding accounting principles for variance assessment.
  • •Strong project management skills to plan, coordinate, and prioritize cost control activities with multiple stakeholders.
  • •Knowledge of cost control tools/software such as Primavera and Procore, plus advanced spreadsheet and database skills for reporting and analysis.
  • •ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills, along with experience reviewing contracts, change orders, and vendor agreements.
