Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders and track machine service intervals.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Diagnose equipment failures at the shop and at customer locations and complete repairs.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment and ensuring OSHA requirements are met (preferred).
  • •Maintain complete, timely electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; EPA 608 certification preferred (obtainable within 6-12 months).
