Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform basic alterations (hemming, patch/repair, tapering) and more technical alterations requiring specialized equipment.
  • •Resolve tailor-related consumer concerns in line with company policy and partner with store management on elevated issues.
  • •Educate and train store teams on Tailor Shop offerings, and potentially train Tailors within a district/region on tailoring processes and standards.
  • •Suggest looks aligned with the latest trends and current promotions based on consumer needs, consistent with the Levi’s service approach.
  • •Handle cash and Tailor Shop merchandise operations and procedures per store policy, and comply with all store programs, policies, and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years’ sewing/tailoring experience with strong knowledge of jeans construction and denim-sewing machines.
  • •Thorough understanding of denim industry trends and upcoming fashion/denim direction.
  • •Proven skills in sewing, tailoring, and textile repair, including basic and more technical alterations.
  • •Strong customer service skills and clear internal/external communication with empathy for customers and coworkers.
  • •Must be at least 16 years old and able to work a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays) and lift up to 40 pounds.
