Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct supplier selection for specific products using an approved supplier list.
  • •Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development (concept scoping, trade tables, should-cost/clean-sheet models, joint design via statements of work).
  • •Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production internally and with suppliers.
  • •Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and conduct value-stream mapping to improve lead time and supply network flexibility.
  • •Lead cost engineering activities, including BOM risk assessment, component qualification, complexity reduction, and managing cost issues (tariffs/import-export costs and cost inflation).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
  • •5+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
  • •Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level.
  • •Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • •Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret Clearance.
