Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead radar performance analysis, waveform experimentation, and capability investigations, including trade studies, statistical modeling, performance predictions, and data analysis.
  • •Participate in peer reviews and resolve identified technical problems.
  • •Collaborate daily with on-site systems engineers and related engineers across teams.
  • •Develop novel radar waveforms and produce innovative technical work products using radar expertise and analytical methods.
  • •Provide SME-level guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support customer/program presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 8 years of prior experience in radar mode/skill development and radar system integration.

  • •UNIX/Linux and demonstrated computer programming skills in C or C++ and using MATLAB or Python for data analysis.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date (U.S. citizenship required).
  • •Experience applying Raytheon Engineering processes to radar performance analysis, waveform experimentation, and system capability investigations.
