Job Summary

Drive growth for Trane’s temporary (rental) solutions by developing and closing sales opportunities across emergency response and non-emergency markets. Create accurate technical solutions and rental quote proposals from request through turnkey delivery. Coordinate shipments and returns with fulfillment teams and develop vertical market strategies in your assigned territory. Prioritize customer engagement and travel to job sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and close sales opportunities to grow emergency response rentals and expand into non-emergency markets, including planned, seasonal, and special events rentals.
•Create and design accurate and timely technical solutions based on customer temporary needs and existing rental equipment offerings.
•Develop rental quotes from initial request to proposal, including rental equipment quotes for turnkey solution proposals.
•Work with Rental Services teams to develop and coordinate vertical market strategies for temporary solutions in the assigned market.
•Coordinate shipments and returns to and from jobs with the Rental Services fulfillment team, including required travel to customer job sites.

Key Requirements

•Equivalent combination of education and experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent.
•3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC systems or rental equipment/services experience.
•Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply, prioritizing practical experience and relevant skills.
•Valid DL number/driver’s license, valid and in state for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
•Ability to design accurate and timely technical solutions based on customer temporary needs and existing rental equipment offerings.
