Key Responsibilities

  • •Support all phases of product design and production for military/defense applications, including supplier interaction and in-house vs. supplier manufacturing processes
  • •Develop painting procedures for different base materials and surface treatments, establishing inspection processes and criteria
  • •Design for corrosion prevention and manufacturability, select and optimize processes, and perform failure analysis and report writing
  • •Train operators and inspectors, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality organizations
  • •Interpret engineering drawings and defense specifications, translating them into practical procedural instructions and finishing processes

Key Requirements

  • •University degree or equivalent experience, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years experience
  • •Experience in painting, coatings, plating, and surface finishing (procedure development, testing, training, inspection)
  • •Experience in metallurgy, galvanic corrosion, and protective corrosion coatings
  • •Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Chemical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent
  • •Experience as a technical liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and quality organizations
