Job Summary

Own the technical architecture and roadmap for complex Analytics Engineering initiatives, including semantic layer design and source-of-truth consolidation. Serve as the senior technical voice by mentoring engineers and partnering with Data Science, Data Engineering, BI, and Product to raise data governance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the technical architecture and roadmap for complex Analytics Engineering initiatives, including semantic layer design and source-of-truth consolidation.
•Architect the semantic layer and metrics standards so KPIs are defined once and consumed consistently across dashboards, models, AI agents, and downstream products.
•Lead the technical design of the AI-ready data platform for Snowflake Intelligence and AI/agent capabilities, ensuring trustworthiness and production readiness.
•Drive dbt technical excellence across model architecture, materialization/incremental strategies, performance tuning, macros, testing patterns, and CI/CD practices.
•Mentor engineers and partner with Data Science, Data Engineering, BI, and Product to advance schema migrations, governance, and platform-level data quality.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence, with a track record leading complex, cross-cutting initiatives.
•4+ years of hands-on production experience with dbt, including incremental strategies, macros, custom tests, and CI/CD design.
•3+ years of deep experience with a cloud-based data warehouse (Snowflake preferred), including performance tuning and cost optimization.
•Expert-level SQL proficiency and dimensional data modeling with durable, well-tested models.
•Demonstrated experience designing and operating a semantic layer or metrics layer as an organizational source of truth.
