Key Responsibilities

  • •Write and/or manage freelance talent to develop sponsored MICE content programs across multiple formats, including articles, reports, insight decks, spoken presentations, and video scripts.
  • •Act as the Studio’s resident MICE expert, staying current on group business trends, incentive travel, venue development, and event tech.
  • •Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate ideation, outline drafting, interview prep, and desk research while maintaining editorial standards, originality, and fact-checking.
  • •Handle day-to-day sponsor communications by reviewing deliverables, incorporating feedback, and ensuring strict deadlines and content visibility.
  • •Research, script, and moderate partner events in live and virtual formats, including sponsored Summit/Forum talks, panel discussions, and webinars (with focus on Skift Meetings).

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive knowledge of the corporate meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) industry and the business pressures facing meeting planners, procurement leads, and venue buyers.
  • •Proven editorial experience writing about or creating content for MICE-adjacent sectors such as hotel group sales, CVBs, DMCs, or event tech in a fast-moving marketing, ad agency, or B2B trade publishing environment.
  • •Experience using AI content tools (e.g., AI accelerators) for early-stage drafting and research, alongside tools like WordPress, HubSpot, and Google Drive.
  • •Strong client relationship and feedback management skills, with the ability to develop polished proposals/sales materials and confidently moderate live events.
  • •Complete English fluency (written and verbal) and the ability to write, edit, and proof multi-format copy with exceptional accuracy and professionalism.
