Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce detailed and performance specification outputs for the public health discipline, subject to colleague review.
  • •Provide mark-ups to the BIM/CAD team to develop public health design in the 3D model.
  • •Review completed 3D models to ensure coordination with MEP, Fire, Architectural, and Structure disciplines.
  • •Create calculations for public health design for allocated projects.
  • •Ensure public health design is fully compliant to relevant industry standards, client standards, and other project requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Provide public health design within a mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) discipline team on rail projects.
  • •Produce detailed specifications and performance calculations subject to review prior to issue.
  • •Demonstrate a detailed understanding of building regulations and British Standards and how to apply them through calculation.
  • •Work with Bentley Microstation, RevitMEP, or other 3D design software and use AutoCAD to direct/allocate work on projects.
  • •Have technical knowledge of public health design areas including water services, sanitary drainage, surface water drainage, and fire suppression systems.
