Maintain and fabricate sheet metal parts for experimental, developmental, and production work, using precision measurement and CNC/manual equipment, in an onsite manufacturing environment supporting aerospace/defense applications.

Key Responsibilities

•Performs general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.
•Maintains records, moves materials and follows safety rules in performance of duties.
•Utilizes precision measuring equipment to perform non-FAIR inspections on parts and assemblies.
•Set-up, lays out, fabricates, constructs and assembles a wide range of complex sheet metal parts with complicated bends and tolerances.
•Interfaces with support personnel, such as fabrication and manufacturing engineers, NC programmers and quality control personnel to address and solve problems.

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Over 1 year and up to 2 years trades training in sheet metal work.
