Advise and support MongoDB’s largest customers by troubleshooting complex issues across architecture, performance, recovery, and security. Serve as an expert on running MongoDB at scale across the MongoDB ecosystem, including Atlas and Cloud Manager. Collaborate with product management and development teams to advocate for customer needs, and contribute to internal tools that improve performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.

•Solve customers’ complex MongoDB challenges across architecture, performance, recovery, security, and related areas.
•Provide best-practice guidance for running MongoDB at scale.
•Advocate for customers’ needs by interfacing with product management and development teams.
•Support the MongoDB ecosystem, including database server, drivers, cloud, and infrastructure, plus Atlas and Cloud Manager.
•Contribute to internal projects, including developing support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.

•Strong technical experience in one or more areas such as systems administration, distributed systems, network administration, database architecture/administration, application architecture, data architecture/design, or performance tuning and benchmarking.
•Operations background administering large-scale production environments, including hardware, operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows), networks (e.g., firewalls, load balancers), and cloud resources (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with an ability to investigate and solve problems in real time while staying calm under pressure.
•Ability to rapidly learn new technical skills and work effectively in a team environment.
