Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and coordinate traction power projects from concept and feasibility through to AFC/IFC delivery.
  • •Deliver AC and DC traction power design solutions for major rail infrastructure projects.
  • •Conduct and review technical reports, feasibility studies, option assessments, and power system studies (including protection studies and electrical calculations).
  • •Support HV and LV earthing & bonding and earth grid design activities, including managing design packages and coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces.
  • •Contribute to tenders and proposals, maintain client and stakeholder relationships, and mentor graduate and developing engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
  • •6 to 15+ years' experience in traction power engineering design.
  • •Strong experience designing traction power and HV supply systems.
  • •Experience preparing engineering drawings, calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.
  • •Knowledge of HV and LV earthing & bonding design principles and relevant IEC/EN/ASA/AS rail standards.
