Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze and underwrite new and renewal Management Liability business across Financial Lines products for private, nonprofit companies.
  • •Proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities and complete opportunity assessments with key distributors.
  • •Administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines, rating manual rules, and insurance laws and regulations.
  • •Develop and maintain relationships with distributors (agents and brokers) and customers to identify insurance needs and provide solutions.
  • •Support sales culture as a help point for agents, brokers, and customers and mentor team members.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in underwriting or market-facing roles (Executive Underwriter) with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • •OR 7+ years of experience in underwriting/market-facing, accounting, banking, or risk management (AVP Underwriter) with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • •Experience working on time restraints for quotes for new and renewal business.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills, including relationship-building skills.
