Job Summary

Assist in implementing project HSE plans and HSEMS requirements by monitoring site safety activities, hazards, and unsafe work practices. Support emergency response and evacuation planning, deliver HSE and first-aid training, and ensure inductions, risk assessments, and corrective actions are properly documented. Inspect safety-critical equipment and systems (including harnesses and fire extinguishers), investigate incidents/near-misses, and provide daily/weekly/monthly HSE performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor execution of HSE activities on a project to ensure requirements are met and continually monitor site activity.
•Assist in developing and implementing emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.
•Provide HSE and first-aid trainings and run safety awareness programs to increase incident prevention and safety awareness.
•Identify hazards and unsafe conditions daily, raise observation reports, record corrective measures, and address/report violations with recommendations.
•Ensure site induction and visitor/supplier induction programs are effective, maintain logs, develop written risk assessments for tasks, and inspect safety equipment (harnesses, mobile plant/gears, fire extinguishers, tools/equipment) with maintained records.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering.
•Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates.
•Minimum 5 years working experience; 3 years relevant working experience; 2 years GCC is a plus.
•Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses and developing mitigation strategies.
•ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills.
